In detail
The AAH provides a minimum income to people with a disability. Granted by the MDPH based on an incapacity rate, it is paid by the CAF or MSA. Its amount depends on the beneficiary's resources (the partner's income is no longer counted). It can be combined with supplements.
Eligibility conditions
Incapacity rate of at least 80% (or 50–79% with restricted access to employment), stable residence in France, subject to resource conditions.
How to get it
- Prepare an MDPH file
- Submit the application to your department's MDPH
- Await the commission's decision (CDAPH)
- Receive payment from the CAF/MSA
