MaPrimeRénov' (home energy renovation grant)
State grant to finance the energy renovation of your home.
In detail
MaPrimeRénov' helps owners fund energy-saving works (insulation, heating, whole-home retrofit). The amount depends on your income (4 brackets) and the energy gain achieved. Works must be done by an RGE-certified contractor. Combinable with CEE bonuses and the eco zero-interest loan.
Eligibility conditions
Owner-occupier or landlord; home over 15 years old; works by an RGE contractor. Scheme availability fluctuated in 2026 (suspension then reopening).
How to get it
- Check eligibility and estimate the grant on maprimerenov.gouv.fr
- Get quotes from an RGE contractor
- Create an account and submit the application BEFORE starting works
- Carry out the works then request payment
Combining with other grants
Stacks with Energy Savings Certificates (CEE) and the eco-PTZ, plus the 5.5% VAT rate and most local schemes. Total aid can't exceed the works cost.
