Public subsidy of the crop insurance premium against climate hazards.
In detail
The crop insurance aid subsidises up to 70% of the premium of a multi-risk climate insurance taken out by the farmer. It is part of the risk management reform, complemented by State intervention (national solidarity) beyond certain loss thresholds. The request is built into the CAP file.
Eligibility conditions
Active farmer holding an eligible insurance contract (specifications) with an approved insurer; aid request ticked in the CAP file.
How to get it
- Take out an eligible multi-risk climate contract
- Keep the insurance certificate
- Tick the insurance aid request in TéléPAC
- Send supporting documents to your insurer/the administration
