In detail
The ecological bonus reduces the purchase or long-term lease price of an eligible new electric car. The amount is adjusted by reference taxable income per share, with a possible top-up for European-made batteries. The scrappage premium has been discontinued since end 2024 (a 'social leasing' scheme partly replaces it).
Eligibility conditions
Purchase or long-term lease (≥ 2 years) of an eligible new electric vehicle (price and environmental criteria); amount adjusted by reference taxable income per share.
How to get it
- Check the vehicle's eligibility and your income bracket
- Have the bonus deducted directly by the dealer
- Or request reimbursement on primealaconversion.gouv.fr
- Keep purchase documents
