In detail
The means-tested grant helps students fund their studies based on household income, dependent children and distance. Paid by the CROUS over 10 monthly instalments, it is split into tiers (0 bis to 7). Applications go through the Student Social File (DSE).
Eligibility conditions
Student under 28 (first application), enrolled in an accredited programme; household income criteria and dependency points.
How to get it
- Run a simulation on etudiant.gouv.fr
- Create your Student Social File (DSE) on messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr
- Submit the DSE during the campaign (spring)
- Confirm enrolment to trigger payment
